EuropeAid/127559/C/SER/BA– Technical assistance to Public Broadcasting System of Bosnia and Herzegovina in establishment of the 4th legal entity (Public corporation) July 2009 - June 2010 538,000 EUR

The EC-funded project is aimed at helping the state-owned broadcasting services of Bosnia and Herzegovina to restructure and reorganize themselves into a genuine, financially and editorially independent Public Broadcasting Services (PBS) for all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina . Bosnia and Herzegovina has seen many of its institutions falling apart during the civil war and difficult rebuilding period took place with difficult negotiations with the three constituent nations over how to build the future joint institutions of this war-thorn country.

This project has an aim to rebuild all three broadcasters within the PBS in a single and functional PBS system around the project of establishing the PBS Corporation or the so-alled 4th Entity and ensure smooth restructuring of this important public institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina.


This project is being implemented by the team leader, Goran Sumkoski, helped by a team of 6 renowned international experts on restructuring and media and team of around 10local experts and support staff.

 Providing strategic and operational guidance to the only state-wide organization representing interests of all Kyrgyz-based local and foreign businesses.

The Eurasia Foundation sponsored project to help CANS develop revenue and marketing strategy in their efforts to become financially self-sustainable organization providing information to public and commercial consumers.
Project involved organizational and content review of CANS for 5 Central Asian countries, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

The EC-funded project is aimed at establishing joint News Production and Archiving system in the Public Broadcasting Services (PBS) for all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bosnia and Herzegovina has seen many of its institutions falling apart during the civil war and difficult rebuilding period took place with difficult negotiations with the three constituent nations over how to build the future joint institutions of this war-thorn country. The project aim was to improve the quality of the programme production and promotion of internal cooperation in this area between all segments of the PBS of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This News production and archiving project was implemented by the team leader, Goran Sumkoski, helped by a team of 20 renowned international experts on restructuring and media and team of around 15 local experts and support staff.
